Makley Painting strives to keep you informed every step of the way. In order to accomplish this, we have presented an overview of how our process works to provide you with the best painting experience:

• Requesting a Quote:

  This is as simple as going to our request a quote page and filling out the form with your personal or company information or calling 614-319-4856.   We will promptly contact you via phone or email, whichever is more convenient for you.   Next, Makley Painting will set up a time to provide you with a written, no-obligation estimate.

• Paint Materials:

  We recommend using the highest quality paint so your project will look its best and lasts a long time, that's why we have established accounts with two of the most respected names in the industry. Makley Painting has had long-standing accounts with Sherwin Williams and PPG Architectural Finishes, which offer Pittsburg and Porter Paints.

   

• Selecting Color :

  Choosing the right colors for your home or office can be the hardest thing to do when it comes to painting.   To assist you with this process, we work with Sherwin Williams to provide consultation and helpful advice for our customers.   To arrange your free color consultation, fill out the form on the request a quote page and we will contact you shortly to set up your free Sherwin Williams color advice.

• Starting the Job :

  After we have decided on a start date that fits best into your schedule, Makley Painting will begin the prep work. This is one of the most important parts of any paint job.

  • Interior

    We will begin by making sure that all areas (floors, couches, etc.) are very carefully covered. We will then take off plate covers and any pictures that might be on the walls.   Then we tape off all baseboards and any other non-painted areas.   If there are any holes, we will patch and sand them before painting.

  • Exterior

    We will begin by power washing the house to clean it from the mildew and dirt that builds up over the years. We will then cover all plants, bushes and non-painting areas, being especially careful around your flowers and plants.   Most houses will need caulking done.   If there is any loose paint, we will scrape it off and clean it up at the end of every day of work.   Any bare wood will be primed before any finish paint is put on.

• After prepping your house thoroughly, the painting will begin.  

• Payment

  Upon completion of your painting project, we will walk around your home with you, making sure your paint job is completed, you fill out a customer satisfaction form, then and only then do we collect the final payment.
