Since 2003, Tony Makley and his painting team at Makley Painting has been conducting residential and commercial painting services in the Central Ohio area. We do not subcontract, so you know that our house painting team will work until you are happy with your project. Whether it’s interior or exterior painting, deck staining, or color consulting, Makley Painting strives to keep you informed every step of the way. PAINT MATERIALS
When it comes to painting materials, we recommend using high quality paint so that it lasts and looks
its finest.
At Makley’s, we have established accounts with the two most respected names in the paint industry, Sherwin Williams and PPG Architectural Finishes.
Both of these painting companies offers Pittsburgh and Porter Paints.
SELECTING A COLOR
Choosing the right colors for your home or office can be the hardest thing to do when it comes
to painting.
To assist you with this process, we work with Sherwin Williams to provide color guidance and helpful paint advice for our customers.

STARTING THE JOB
Together we will decide on a project start date, then Makley Painting will begin the painting prep work.
INTERIOR PAINT PREPARATION
At Makley’s, there are many steps that go in to preparation for an interior painting project. First, our teams will start by making sure all areas (floors, couches, etc.) are carefully covered. Then the painters will take off plate covers and any pictures on the walls. In addition to this the team members will tape off all baseboards and any other non-painted areas.
EXTERIOR PAINT PREPARATION
The exterior painting staff at Makley’s take precautionary steps before beginning your project. First, the painters will power wash your house to clean it from all the mildew and dirt that tends to build up over the years. Then we will cover all plants, bushes and non-painting areas, being extra cautious around your flowers and plants. If your house needs caulking or any loose paint scrapped off, we will do that as well as cleaning up at the end of the work day. Finally, we will prep any bare wood as needed to ensure a successful painting project. After all this prep work has been completed, the painting process will begin.
After prepping your house thoroughly, the painting will begin.
PAYMENT
Upon completion of your painting project, our skilled team will provide a tour of the work that has been done, making sure your paint job is completed to your satisfaction. After everything is finished, we ask that you fill out a customer satisfaction form and then we will collect the final payment.
